| As students from a broad range of backgrounds we have chosen this degree because we are interested in developing innovative solutions to sustainability problems. Such solutions require a cross-disciplinary approach, balancing the interests of humanity, nature and economics, and the courage to look in to the future and to strive for its improvement for all. As you can expect of such students, we are also greatly interested in working together for the benefit of the students in this specialised Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development (MSD). All MSD students are automatically a member of the MSD Student Union and are heartily welcome to partake in its activities. The Union is coordinated by a Board, which organises social (student parties, treks) and educative events (excursions, guest speakers) for the students. Additional responsibilities of the Board include the representation of the interests of the MSD students in various university committees. The Board has regular meetings and is in close contact with the MSD Coordination Office. |
