Antonia Kaiser has recently received her PhD in Sustainability Research from the University of Basel. In her dissertation, she investigated practices, discourses, and policies in the context of a transition to low-pesticide agriculture. She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at Agroscope where she focuses on behavioral factors affecting farmers’ decisions to conserve biodiversity and at the University of Basel in a research project on energy communities.
Prior to her PhD, Antonia completed a Master's degree in Sustainability Economics and Management at the University of Oldenburg, Germany, with a thesis investigating the transformative potential of cooperative building and housing projects in Switzerland. During her undergraduate studies, she also spent a semester abroad at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia and did an internship with the NGO TATU Project in Tanzania.
