Philipp Dunker is a PhD student in the Sustainability Research Group at the University of Basel. He is part of the SWEET-project “reFuel.ch”. His research is focused on the role of public opinion and acceptance regarding the implementation and usage of alternative and sustainable fuels in Switzerland.

Prior to joining the University of Basel, Philipp Dunker completed bachelor’s programs in Psychology and in Global Environmental and Sustainability Studies at the Leuphana University Lüneburg and the master’s program Environmental Psychology at the University of Groningen. There he examined the influence of public participation in the policy development process on the public acceptance of energy policies.
