At the annual SweetRefuel assembly at the Paul Scherrer Institute, our team presented new survey results showing that sustainable and alternative fuels enjoy broad acceptance among the Swiss public.
The annual assembly of SweetRefuel took place on the 22.09 at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villingen. Adam Hearn and Philipp Dunker represented the team from the sustainability research group with an excellent presentation from Philipp, on the social acceptance of sustainable and alternative fuels in Switzerland. Results from a Swiss-wide survey were presented, highlighting that sustainable fuels are generally well-accepted by the Swiss public. A future survey will examine willingness to pay for sustainable and alternative fuels, and a series of expert focus groups will shed further light on the topic, helping to direct energy transition pathways for Switzerland.
