We are pleased to congratulate Thomas Stoiber on successfully defending his PhD thesis, “Mobility Decisions in the Context of a Sustainable Development – Dependencies and Potentials of Influence.”

In his doctoral research, Thomas focused on the future of mobility, examining shared and pooled-use automated vehicles.

The defense also marked a special milestone: Thomas is the last doctoral researcher supervised by Prof. Emeritus Paul Burger at the University of Basel.
